Maya Hardrick is a school psychology doctoral student from UNC-Chapel Hill. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with her BA in May 2019. Throughout her graduate training, Maya has completed several supervised clinical experiences in psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention, including externships in Wake County Public Schools and at the Duke Child and Family Study Center. She comes to LDC with considerable prior experience working with children and adolescents as both a teaching assistant and paraprofessional. Maya plans to become a licensed psychologist following graduation, specializing in neuropsychology.
Why Intern/Extern for LDC?
The vision and the integrative approach of LDC really resonate with me, and I am very excited to play a part in helping children to thrive in this unique setting.
