Helen joined the Lucy Daniels Center in the summer of 2023 after relocating from Calgary (Canada) to the Raleigh area with her family. Helen has over 20 years of experience in not for profit development, communications, and management and has fundraised for multiple sectors including K-12 education, post-secondary education, healthcare, and the arts. She is passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion and has focused her career to date on providing resources and opportunities that help to level the playing field for all individuals in need of a hand up to live their best life. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family, play video games, attend the theatre, and wrangle basset hounds.
