Dr. Sindhura Kunaparaju joins Lucy Daniels Center as New Director of Medical Services

Cary, NC, September 2, 2020 – Lucy Daniels Center is thrilled to welcome Dr. Sindhura Kunaparaju in the role of Director of Medical Services at Lucy Daniels Center. Dr. Kunaparaju received her Medical Degree from American University of Antigua and pursued her Psychiatry residency at Cooper University in New Jersey. She has worked with children and families at Lucy Daniels Center in 2019 as she completed her fellowship year at Duke University, and will continue to work closely with Dr. Don Rosenblitt, former Executive and Clinical Director at Lucy Daniels Center who retired just last year. Dr. Kunaparaju is currently accepting referrals for new child patients needing mental health evaluation, including psychotherapy, and is also offering medication management services to children receiving services at Lucy Daniels Center. “I have always been deeply intrigued with the mind and wanted to further my understanding of development by pursuing a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Duke University,” said Dr. Sindhura Kunaparaju. “I am excited and grateful for an opportunity to be on staff at Lucy Daniels Center and looking forward to my role as Director of Medical Services.”
