Jillian joined the Lucy Daniels Center in 2025 as a SecurePath Clinician after receiving her Master’s in Counselor Education, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jillian also brings with her a background in early childhood development, holding a North Carolina Birth–Kindergarten teaching license. Her experiences span a range of educational and caregiving settings.

Jillian interned in a community mental healthcare setting in Durham, North Carolina, focusing on group and individual therapy in a program for school-age children facing school-based and systemic barriers. Jillian’s therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that children are whole, capable individuals who express themselves best through their natural language of play. Jillian values collaboration and working with caregivers as experts in their children and views strong therapeutic relationships as central to meaningful growth and healing.
