Mental Health Clinician
Jackie is a School and Mental Health Clinician at the Lucy Daniels Center, where she is glad to return in 2025 after previously working as a student intern at the Therapeutic School. Through her work with children and families in Raleigh, she developed a strong interest in early childhood experiences and attachment, particularly how early relationships shape development.
In her clinical work, Jackie brings a thoughtful, psychodynamic approach and works closely with parents to be in tune with their child’s emotions, strengthen relationships, and navigate periods of growth and challenge. She strives to cultivate a warm, inviting, and collaborative environment where children and families feel respected, listened to, and supported.
She earned a Master of Social Work degree from North Carolina State University in May 2025. Her educational background also includes studies in Human Development (BS) and Religious Studies (BA) at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master in Divinity (MA) from the University of Chicago and three years doctoral study at the University of Toronto in the study of Religion.
