Dakota Becker joined the Lucy Daniels Center as a Family Guidance Mental Health Clinician in 2023 following completion of an advanced clinical social work fellowship in pediatric mental health at Yale School of Medicine’s Child Study Center, where she specialized in early childhood trauma. She is rostered in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), a Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) facilitator, and is actively pursuing endorsement in Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health (IEMH-E). Dakota’s clinical interests include grief, traumatic loss, and attachment within parent-child relationships. She deeply believes in the power of human relationships and feels it is an honor to companion children and their families as they navigate life’s challenges.
