Ms. Dickinson obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Therapy from UNC Wilmington. She worked with kids of all abilities throughout undergrad and has a special interest working with kids who have developmental disabilities and those who need some extra social and emotional support. Prior to joining The Lucy Daniels Center Ms. Dickinson worked as a Certified Recreation Therapist at a residential neurobehavioral program for adults. She enjoys finding ways to help increase coping skills, enhance social skills, and improve emotional regulation, in the classroom environment.
