Sarah Stevens is the senior clinician at SecurePath, and she launched this SmartStart-funded program at the Lucy Daniels Center in August 2004. Sarah earned a bachelors degree from Guilford College and a masters degree in clinical social work at UNC-Chapel Hill in 2003. She is bilingual in Spanish and works intensively in the Latinx community of Wake County. Her areas of specialty include young child trauma and loss, parent-child and attachment work, behavioral and emotional concerns in preschoolers, and strengthening family systems and parent partnership relationships.
