Dr. Odjaghian joined the Lucy Daniels Center in 2016 after spending 6 years working with children and families in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a certification in clinical hypnotherapy and her areas of interest/expertise include attachment, trauma, adoption, and multicultural issues. Dr. Odjaghian also is the mental health consultant for the Duke Endowment grant-funded Circle of Security Parenting Program being offered in rural counties of North Carolina. The parenting program focuses on strengthening parent-child attachment by creating conversation and reflective spaces for caregivers to better understand their histories as well as better understand the emotional communications of behavior.
