Deborah Mugno, Ed.D.
School Director
Debbie has over 22 years experience in the fields of early childhood and early intervention. She holds a B. S. in special education from the University of Maryland, and both an M. S. in education/reading and an Ed. D. in special education/leadership from Johns Hopkins University. She spent many years as an early intervention specialist and administrator in Maryland, has taught early childhood classes at several community colleges in North Carolina as well as at Meredith College, has an extensive background in early intervention research, and speaks frequently at both state and national early childhood conferences. Debbie was the Education Director at the Lucy Daniels Center from 1996 through 2003.
Barbara Snider, M.D.
Parent Therapist and Admissions Officer, Early Intervention Program; and Consultant, Child Enrichment Program
Dr. Snider is a child psychiatrist. She is in continued training in psychoanalysis through the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Snider is a parent therapist, Early Intervention Program admissions officer, and Child Enrichment Program consultant, and has been fulfilling these roles at the Center since 2000.
Connie Grahn
Teacher
Mrs. Grahn has been at Lucy Daniels Center since 1999. She teaches in the Child Enrichment Program. Her B.S. is in health and physical education and her masters degree is in early intervention/early childhood.
Kathy Kelly
Teacher
Mrs. Kelly joined our staff in the fall of 2006. Mrs. Kelly prior work experience was in the public relations field and as a long-time volunteer with children in elementary, middle, and high schools in the Wake County Public School System.
Sharon Miller
Teacher
Ms. Miller joined the Lucy Daniels Center staff in 2007. She received a B.S. degree in human development and learning from East Tennessee State University. She has 12 years of teaching experience with children ages 3-5.

Susan Eder, M.D.
Associate Director and Parent Therapist, Early Intervention Program
Dr. Eder is the Center's associate director and a parent therapist in the Early Intervention Program. She completed her training in adult, adolescent, and child psychiatry at the Payne-Whitney Clinic of the New York Hospital and was an assistant professor of child psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Dr. Eder is a parent therapist and member of the EIP therapeutic team since 1998
David Fuller, M. D.
Parent Therapist, Early Intervention Program
Dr. Fuller is a child psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, serving as a parent therapist and a member of the therapeutic team. He completed his training in adult and child psychiatry at Duke University and in adult and child psychoanalysis at the Duke-UNC Psychoanalytic Education Program (now Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas). Dr. Fuller has been a parent therapist and member of the Early Intervention Program therapeutic team since 1995.
Christa Love
Lead Early Intervention Program Teacher
Ms. Love received her B.S. degree in child development from Meredith College. She also earned a minor in psychology and a master's degree in special education from NC State University. Since joining our staff in 1999, Ms. Love has taught in both the Child Enrichment Program and the preschool and kindergarten Early Intervention Program classrooms. Ms. Love currently teaches in the kindergarten EIP classroom and has earned the professional designation Certified Psychoanalytic Educator (CPE).
Jennifer Murphy
Teacher
Ms. Murphy joined our staff in August 2007. She received her bachelor's degree in social work from Frostburg State University in Maryland and had seven years of experience in mental health and early childhood development positions. Ms. Murphy currently teaches in the preschool Early Intervention Program classroom.
Jennifer Reid
Teacher
Mrs. Reid joined our staff in 2005. She has an M.A. degree in early childhood and elementary education from NYU and an early childhood teacher credential from the American Montessori Society. Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Reid taught children ages 3-6, beginning in 2001. Currently, Ms. Reid teaches in the preschool Early Intervention Program classroom and has earned the professional credential of Certified Psychoanalytic Educator (CPE).
Daphne Rosenblitt, M.D.
Parent Therapist, Early Intervention Program
Dr. Rosenblitt is a parent therapist and has been a member of the Early Intervention Program therapeutic team since 2006. She received her training in adult and child psychiatry at Duke University and her analytic training through the Duke-UNC Psychoanalytic Education Program (now Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas), where she is currently on the faculty. Dr. Rosenblitt has a private practice of psychoanalysis and psychotherapy in Durham.

Theresa Sterlina
Teacher
Mrs. Sterlina began teaching at Lucy Daniels Center in 2001. She has taught in all three of the Child Enrichment classrooms as well as in the preschool Early Intervention Program. She earned an A.A.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Maria College in Albany, New York, and a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from the University of Connecticut. She presently teaches in the EIP kindergarten program.
